H and HL hinges are made with wrapped and forge welded joints and forge welded
legs on the HL's. Hand filed and fitted, these hinges are a careful copy of
the originals. Early 18th to early 19th century. Made in sizes from 3"
to 12".

This foliated H hinge, sometimes called Queen Anne, is available also as an
HL. It has forge welded joints and the legs are forged thin and drawfiled
over the whole surface, then file beveled and foliated. These are fine hinges
and carefully made. Late 17th to mid 18th century.

The butterfly hinge is made by folding two thickness of thin sheet metal
and then forge welding them. The extremities are then forged thin and
stretched to give the peculiar shape. The surface is then drawfiled and
the edges beveled. Suitable for cupboards, small closet and small passage
doors. Late 17th to early 18th century. Available in sizes: 3" wide/
2 " high; 4" wide/ 3 " high; and 3 " wide/2 "
